How do I enroll my business for new service?
You can start new service or switch service by contacting MXenergy customer service at 1-800-785-4373.
 

If I enroll online, how will I know my business has been accepted?
You will receive a confirmation e-mail (where applicable) or phone call advising you that your application has been accepted. We will then begin processing your enrollment. Once your enrollment has been processed, you will receive a Welcome Package in the mail. If you have any questions about the status of your enrollment, please contact us.
 

Is your Website secure?
Yes, we use the most up-to-date security features, ensuring the safety of our customers’ information.
 

Why does MXenergy need my business' Tax ID Number in order to sign my company up?
Your Tax ID number is required for credit screening. In addition, it helps in accelerating the processing of your account with Atlanta Gas Light.
 

Why does MXenergy need to do a credit screening?
We want to offer our customers the lowest rates possible. Costs are affected by consumers who slow pay or default on payment. By screening out these high risk credit ratings or securing higher risk accounts by way of deposits, MXenergy can more easily regulate our costs and pass those savings onto our customers.
 

Will I be charged a deposit or upfront charge?
A security deposit may be required, depending on your credit score.
The deposit must be paid before service is activated. Prompt payment will ensure your security deposit is refunded, with interest, after 6-months. In addition, you may be charged a $25 turn-on fee.
 

What is Mxenergy’s monthly service fee?
The current monthly service fee is dependent on the rate plan you choose. See Commercial Rate Plans for details.
 

What other charges will I see on my bill?
Your bill will consist of base charges from Atlanta Gas Light Company (AGLC), charges for consumption, monthly service fee and applicable taxes.
